While many sciences look at the body as a machine, the Department of Kriya Sharir teaches students to view the body as a dynamic, living entity governed by biological rhythms and energies. This department bridges the gap between traditional Ayurvedic concepts and modern human physiology.<\/p>\n\n

  • The Tridosha Theory: Students delve deep into the study of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. They learn how these three bio-energies govern every movement, transformation, and stability within the human frame.<\/li>\n \t
  • Dhatu and Mala Vigyan: The curriculum covers the seven Dhatus (tissues) and the process of nutrition (Ahara Paka), alongside the importance of Malas (waste products) in maintaining health.<\/li>\n \t
  • Prakriti Analysis: One of the most unique aspects of this department is teaching students how to identify an individual’s Prakriti (constitution). This allows for truly personalized medicine, a hallmark of the Ayurvedic system.<\/li>\n \t
